When do I need to let you know I'm moving?

You can let us know up to 28 days before you move, but you must give us at least two working days’ notice before you leave your current address.

If you’d like to take your landline and broadband with you to your new address, please contact us at least 14–21 days before moving to make sure we can arrange the transfer in time for your move. To take your energy service with you, timescales will vary depending on whether UW is already in place at the new property, so please contact us as soon as you have a confirmed move in date.

If you’re planning to move, we can’t close or transfer your account to your new address until you have a confirmed moving date. So just let us know when you have one.
