Help and support

I’d like to take the services I have with UW to my new property, and you already supply these services to this property. What do I need to do?

We’re really happy that you want to take us with you. Just let us know the date from which you’ll be responsible for the new property, and we’ll make sure your services transfer in time.

Remember, to avoid any delays transferring your landline and broadband services to your new property, we ideally need at least 14–21 days’ notice ahead of your move date. For your energy services, please let us know as soon as you have your confirmed move in date, with at least two working days’ notice.

For non-geographical services like your mobile and cashback card, we only need to update your address details.

Please remember to take any equipment we've provided with you to your new home, for example your broadband router. You'll be able to use your router at your new property as soon as your services go live.

Once you’ve let us know about your move, we can arrange for a transfer of the services currently at your new address over to UW.

Your energy service transfer process can take between 14–21 days from your move-in date. The current energy supplier will charge you for any energy used while the transfer is taking place.

For non-geographical services like your mobile and cashback card, we only need to update your address details.
