How do I enable my supply after it’s been disabled?

Sometimes, your gas or electricity supply might disconnect after running out of credit - for example, during a power outage if you’ve not topped up enough credit on a prepayment meter, or due to a malfunctioning appliance in your home. Here’s how to get your supply back up and running. Before you start

  • If you have a prepayment meter, make sure you have enough credit on your meter before following the instructions below.

  • We suggest you turn off any appliances that are sensitive to power surges, too.

If you’re not sure which is the correct manufacturer, their name should be on the front of the meter.
