Help with setting up or changing my Wi-Fi password

You'll need your Wi-Fi password whenever you want to connect mobiles, tablets, or laptops to your broadband via a wireless router.

The default password should be on a label attached to the bottom of your router - and on the card provided with the router.

How do I change my Wi-Fi password?

If you change your Wi-Fi password, all devices connected to your router will be disconnected and will need to be reconnected using the new password.

To change your wireless password with one of our Standard, Premium or Super routers you can follow these steps:

  1. Open a new web browser window

  2. Type in 192.168.1.1 and press Enter

  3. Select Wireless

  4. You'll need to log in to the router

    • The username is: admin

    • The default password is the 'Access Key' printed on the bottom of your router

  5. Scroll down and you will see the SSID Name you can change the name of your Wi-Fi here

  6. Just below this you can enter a new Wireless (WI-Fi) Password that you'd like to use

  7. Click Save to start using your new Wi-Fi settings

  8. You will need to connect your devices using your new Wi-Fi name and password
