Can I keep the landline and broadband or/and mobile service?
If there is one person named on the account
Landline and broadband services are cancelled unless you tell us you’d like to keep them. You can keep the services live for 30 days from the date of “bereavement notification”, after which it’ll be cancelled automatically. If you’d like to keep it for longer, the service will need to be moved to a new account under the name of the requester. This will also be the case for a mobile SIM if the handset is out of contract. If there are two people named on the account
Landline and broadband will be kept on the account as long as the other person wants to carry on with the services on the account. If they’d like to cancel either landline, broadband or both, they can let us know. This will also be the case for a mobile SIM if the handset is out of contract.
