What do I do if I’ve received a bill in the name of the deceased?
If you’ve already notified us of bereavement and the probate is still ongoing, no action is needed. We bill a month in arrears so the changes will show on the following month’s bill. Please remember to let us know when you're ready to close the account when the property is sold or the keys have been handed back.
If probate hasn't been granted yet, or if Letters of Administration still haven't been issued, please let us know about the bereavement by calling us on 0333 005 8356. Or you can email us at. We can then put a hold on the account until the probate is granted.
