The meter serial number on my bill seems wrong, what should I do?

Don't worry we can help fix this, if the

doesn't match the one showing on your bill. Sometimes, the meter may be changed without us being told of the new details.

Before you contact us, please go to the meter and look for a sticker or a tag hanging from the pipework. This should show some details about when the meter was changed. Please note these details as we'll need these:

  1. The old meter serial number (this will be a mix of letters and numbers)

  2. The new meter serial number (this will be a mix of letters and numbers)

  3. The date the meter was exchanged

  4. The meter readings on the exchange date

Once you've contacted us with this information, we'll invesitigate and make the changes to your bill as soon as we can.
